Jhalingigoch 1 Government Primary School

Afroza and her two siblings live in a small village of Panchagarh with their parents. Her father is physically disabled as he was born with a deformed arm and is unable to work. Her mother, Mira, takes care of them and works on farms as a day laborer to provide for the family.

Nur Jalal lives in a small village of Panchagarh with his grandmother. His parents separated when he was a baby and left to start new families of their own. His grandmother, Karima, takes care of him and works as a day laborer breaking stones to provide for the family.

Only students who are currently enrolled in Government Primary Schools and fall under any
of the following criteria are eligible to apply
for scholarships

Disabled Father

Student's father is physically unable to work

Single Mother

Student's father is deceased or has abandoned the family

Orphan

Both parents are deceased or have abandoned the child
