Ferdous Hasan, Class 5

Shingroad Joydhorbhanga Government Primary School

Ferdous lives in a small village of Panchagarh with his mother and grandparents. His father left him when he was a baby, while his mother has a speech impediment that limits her ability to provide for the family. Despite these challenges his mother, Fancy, works as a day laborer to provide for them.

Sumaiya Sharmin, Class 4

Panchagarh 2 Government Primary School

Sumaiya and her mother live in a small village of Panchagarh with her mother's employers. Her father left her when she was a baby to start a new family and does not keep in touch. Her mother, Somary, takes care of her and works in nearby houses to provide for the family.

Suraiya Akhter, Class 3

Poshi Harar Bari Government Primary School

Suraiya and her four sisters live in a small village of Narayanganj with her parents. Her father is physically disabled, suffering from old age complications and is unable to work. Her mother, Farida, works in nearby houses to provide for the family.

Dhumpa Rani, Class 4

Roseya Jamuripara Government Primary School

Dhumpa and her younger brother live in a small village of Panchagarh with their parents. Her father is physically disabled as he was born both deaf and mute and is unable to work. Her mother, Momota, takes care of them and works as a day laborer cutting wood to provide for the family.

Scholarship Eligibility

Only students who are currently enrolled in Government Primary Schools and fall under any
of the following criteria are eligible to apply
for scholarships

Disabled Father

Student's father is physically unable to work

Single Mother

Student's father is deceased or has abandoned the family

Orphan

Both parents are deceased or have abandoned the child

Transfer directly

Your scholarship is transferred to your student's mother automatically through mobile banking.

Attendance and report card in the AlterYouth app

View attendance data and report cards from your student's school, until completion of Class 5.

Your scholarship continues until completion of class 5, when your student achieves literacy.
